She completed her secondary education at Madre Teresa de Calcuta High School and has since pursued numerous professional development opportunities, including courses in English, pharmacy assistance, public speaking, and the humanization of healthcare services.

Sihara began her professional journey in 2014, tutoring young children in reading and writing at a local homework center. Her passion for education also led her to serve as a facilitator in the Quisqueya Aprende Contigo adult literacy program.

In 2015, Sihara was introduced to Health Horizons International, where she found an opportunity to channel her passion for community service. Eager to make a tangible impact, she volunteered as a community health promoter in Pancho Mateo, a position she held for six years. Her work in this role, combined with a professional internship at Dolores de la Cruz Hospital, deepened her expertise in healthcare and solidified her commitment to supporting her community.

Her contribution to HHI did not go unnoticed. In 2022, Sihara was appointed Program Coordinator for Referral and Accompaniment. Initially part-time, her position quickly grew to full-time in recognition of her leadership and exceptional contributions. Sihara continues to excel in this role, where she remains committed to improving the lives of those in her community through compassionate and effective healthcare coordination.
