Juliana Alcántara Balbuena

Juliana Alcántara Balbuena, originally from Arroyo de Leche and now residing in Montellano, has pursued her education with determination and resilience. She began her academic journey at Arroyo de Leche Primary School and later completed her studies at Montellano Basic School through the adult distance learning program (Prepara), achieving both basic education and high school diplomas. In addition to her formal education, Juliana has expanded her skills by completing several courses with Infotep, including urban garden production, basic office operations, and professional training in courtesy and telephone etiquette, among others.

Juliana joined Health Horizons International in 2014 as a part-time janitor, and her dedication and strong work ethic led to her being offered a full-time position in 2017. Since then, she has remained a committed team member, actively participating in the organization’s programs and activities, contributing meaningfully to its mission and goals.
