Dr. Michael Good and Friends Swim One Mile for HHI

On Sunday, October 2, Dr. Michael Good and a group of his friends swam a one-mile course in the frigid waters of Miller’s Pond in Connecticut. This hardy group of swimmers has raised over $10,000 for HHI’s community gardens. Dr. Good, a long-time volunteer, has provided medical care to countless patients over the years. His efforts will enable HHI to continue expanding our community gardens in multiple locations, helping to establish food security, promote healthier diets, and strengthen community cohesion. We are incredibly grateful for this intrepid group of swimmers and look forward to planting more seeds for the future.
